This is a 1908 Rosewood Baby Grand piano manufactured by Wm Knabe in Baltimore, MD.   The Classic lines of the baby grand perfectly showcase the rich rosewood grain on this piano.  The case is a simple style with tapered legs.  The finish is a mixture of older restoration, original finish in good condition and some areas as seen on the board above the keys showing some crazing of the original finish.  As proud owners of this musical instrument for over 20 years, we only needed to have routine tunings performed.   It always held its pitch well.    The keyboard action is quick and responsive.  The tone is very mellow and rich, which is common with Knabe pianos.  The ivory keyboard has one key with a small crack (shown).   Obviously, this piece is not found in our retail store.  You will need to make an appointment to see this in our home.  Feel free to email us if you have further questions.
