Fanciful "Kissing Dolphins" Mirror (inventory # EE-214) An Empire Revival treat! This deep oval dressing mirror (beveled glass) is held up by a pair of carved dolphins that have their tails surrounding the frame. Carved scales and other details are featured on the fish themselves while the base is a bit more traditional. The platform is trimmed with rope carvings, gadrooning and the wave crest feet at the corners. Mahogany is the wood or choice for this piece and it works well. We saved the original back, though it had been split over time from shrinkage. Size ................ 71"
