Original gilt finish on this bench offers lots of details to treat the eyes.  The piece was recently re-covered with a traditional cut velvet fabric in a wine red.  The seat is approximately 14" from the floor and the piece is sturdy.  The front is the same as the back, making this an ideal piece to decorate with anyplace in a room.
